Check the running amps listed on the refrigerator and freezer, then add them up. The 2500 watts is startup wattage meaning that it is peak power but will not continue to run at that level. My unit is about 1850 watts continuous and about 1600 watts on propane. Multiply your amps times 120 volts to get a rough idea of running wattage. Startup current could be about 2.5 times that.
